Focus Flow does not require an account, serve ads, or include analytics. Your focus history and preferences stay on your device. Software update requests are described below.

Focus history and preferences

Your timer settings, daily session count, streak, all-time total, theme preference, and ambient-sound settings are stored on your device.

Notifications

If you grant permission, Focus Flow schedules local notifications on your device when a focus or break session is due to end. GhostWorkers does not receive notification content or delivery history.

Ambient sound

The included Rain and River field recordings play from files bundled with the app. Focus Flow does not stream audio, record your microphone, or upload audio.

Software updates

Focus Flow may contact Shorebird's update service to check for and download app updates. Shorebird uses Google Cloud, which records request IP addresses in logs for security and monitoring. Your focus history and preferences are not sent with these requests, and GhostWorkers does not use them to build an identifiable user profile.
